Who We Are

Home staging started for us when we were selling our own investment property and quickly realized how frustrating the process could be. We reached out to several staging companies but found the experience lacking, there were slow responses, vague timelines, and a lack of professionalism when it came to getting quotes and clear communication.

That experience sparked the idea for our business. We realised staging isn’t just about filling a room with furniture it’s about helping buyers picture themselves living there. More importantly, it’s about helping sellers get the best price by making their home stand out in the market.

Along the way, we noticed a trend in the industry, a heavy focus on ultra-high-end, luxurious staging. While that definitely has its place, it doesn’t always fit the homes we work with and often made sellers hesitant to stage because they felt their home wasn’t “grand” enough to start with. The truth is, it’s these everyday, lived-in homes that are at the core of Perth’s real estate market and benefit the most from staging.

That’s why we focus on stylish, liveable staging which is creating spaces that look amazing but still feel real and welcoming, helping buyers see the true potential and imagine themselves living there, not just admiring it from afar.

Marcia - Co-Owner

Originally from Brazil, Marcia brings a natural flair for design and a sense of warmth and vibrancy that shines through every project. She studied Architecture and Design in Brazil before completing a degree in Hotel Management at one of South America’s leading universities.

After moving to Perth, she built a successful career as State HR Manager for a large hospitality group, overseeing major venues and stadiums. That experience strengthened her leadership, organisation, and creative problem-solving skills.

Later, she ran her own children’s party business, which showcased her attention to detail, love of styling, and ability to create spaces that make people feel something. These same strengths now define her work with Beam.

Marcia’s Brazilian roots influence her approach to interiors, blending confident use of colour, texture, and personality with a sense of balance and livability.

Adam - Co-Owner

Adam’s background spans finance, new home sales, and real estate. This mix gives Beam a strong commercial foundation and a deep understanding of what makes homes appeal to buyers.

His career began in finance, specialising in residential mortgages, business lending, and elements of financial planning, before moving into new home sales, where he became a top performer in the field and later took on sales management roles.

Adam also holds a real estate license, combining his knowledge of finance, property, and buyer psychology to ensure every project is strategically designed to sell.

At Beam, Adam brings together his experience in numbers and negotiation with a genuine passion for property, keeping the business efficient, the process smooth, and the results outstanding.

Together, we balance creativity and strategy to create design that feels warm and authentic, backed by the kind of market insight that sells homes. We both believe staging shouldn’t just make a house look beautiful; it should make it feel like home to the next buyer.
